What do you love about working in construction?

I am intrigued with the continuing development and education of construction. My grandfather would never believe that you can review plans with technology and not just paper. I feel like I need another ten more years to grasp the world of Construction.

Anything else you would like folks to know about you or NAWIC?

NAWIC has made me want to continue my education and has introduced me to all sides of the trades. Construction has amazing opportunities for all genders. NAWIC shows you what those opportunities are. If there are women out there that like to drive boats, motorcycles, and are comfortable with getting behind the seat of any size truck they could very well have a successful career as a heavy equipment operator.
