Block Kids - Community Event

Soo many young, smart, ambitious, inspiring and innovative children out there! Can’t wait to see our future generation building our future! Today we held our Annual Block Kids event at our local library and it was a ton of fun! I think our winner has an excellent chance!

What is Block Kids you ask? The Block Kids Program introduces children in grades K-6 to the construction industry in an effort to create an awareness of and to promote an interest in future careers in one of the many facets of the industry. The Block Kids Building Program is a national building competition which is sponsored by NAWIC Chapters and other organizations that wish to promote children in grades K-6 about construction careers. They are given an allotment of LEGOs and a time frame to build a construction project. A super fun and educational program the kids love while learning about the industry!
