The Block Kids is a national building competition for children in 1st through 6th grade and introduces them to construction careers.  Each child is given 100 blocks and the choice of 3 other items (a small rock, string, foil, and poster board) to use their imagination in constructing a structure or project.   

Local winners advance to the regional competition, and one semi-finalist from each region is entered in the National program competition. Local and National prizes are awarded to the top three projects

This year NAWIC Silicon Valley will be hosting it at the Boys & Girls Club Silicon Valley - Alviso Clubhouse!
